Mikumi National Park is the fourth largest park of Tanzania and its greatness is likened to the Serengeti, where varied landscapes of barren beauty, lush green trees and golden grasses astound you and where the wildlife gets the closest. Surrounded by hills and mountains, changing landscapes from dry savannah to flamboyant fauna, the park is a treat to the eyes offering scenic views and deeper appreciation of nature.

The park allows hiking along these trails and open grasslands to see diverse species of birds and wildflows. Kitulo National Park is accessible via Mbeya town in south Tanzania. Wildflower displays peak between December and April. Cold and foggy from June to August; sunny and ideal temps for hiking between September and November.
