The Founder of Karanga Adventure, Alpha Malinda is a young and experienced rider and leader born and raised on the southern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro in the Valley of Karanga River. The company is named in recognition of the influence of Karanga River to the people who live along and depend on it for their livelihood. Karanga is also a Swahili word which, means groundnuts.
The Great Purpose
The motive of these exceptional safari experience, according to Alpha is beyond having unique business. The Team
Alpha has vast knowledge enabling him to take clients from hiking Mount Kilimanjaro to Wildlife Safaris in the many parks and reserves. He has qualifications of Advanced Diploma in Wildlife Management, Certificate in Basic Trekking and anti-poaching skills from The Norwegian Trekking School. He has also participated in different international and local Enduro Races in Africa, Asia and Australia.
His adventure team comprises of ten hard working young boys which include four mechanics, three English speaking guides and two drivers and 1chef.
The Adventure Begins:
Most of our tours are designed for outdoor oriented people with a passion for nature and for motorbike enthusiast. The tour takes you around Tanzania and East Africa for unique experiences as you ride along, spectacular scenery, friendly people, and amazing wildlife.
The fleet comprises of twelve bikes accommodating ten riders at once.
Bike Models: Honda XR 250 – 1993
Go for day trips or 21 days tours on motorbike with combination of other activities. Riders are encouraged to select days during dry seasons. Fixed departures are also available to accommodate clients depending on availability. Trails are off road, suitable for all skilled riders, amateurs to experts. Arrangements for the stays are in lodges, motel and bush camps and three meals of three to four courses are served every day.
