About Serengeti National Park
TANAPA has total number of 19 National parks.
Serengeti National Park has a lot of biodiversity, We’re talking of zebras, lions, cheetahs, wildebeests, honey badgers, buffalo, leopards, giraffes, gazelles, crocodiles and more than 500 species of birds.
Every spring the Great Migration begins with more than 2 million wildebeests traveling north from Serengeti to Maasai Mara in Kenya. This is the single largest population of big mammals on the planet.
About Serengeti Safari Marathon
Serengeti Safari Marathon will be on 16th November 2019.
It will take place at western corridor of Serengeti National Park, Ndabaka Gate (Simiyu Region).
Simiyu Regional Commisioner (RC) Hon Anton Mtaka also President of Athletics Tanzania has given us all privilege and blessings to do this event in his region and as a President of AT.
Why Serengeti Safari Marathon?
It’s all about bringing to local and international tourists awareness of tourism attractions in Tanzania, healthy and happier society, Culture, Heritage Sites, Resource Mobilization for conservation activities through Go Green Campaigns and Anti-poaching.

Last year @cfhopital staffs had good hospitality and care also ambulance cars were properly arranged, hope they will do again this season
